In this world we are surrounded by falsehoods and half-truths. Corporations, pharmaceuticals, politicians, and others all present their own version of “truth” that promotes their agendas.
Our media abounds with falsehoods. We have sites that search for the “truth” in media posts, but they themselves have proven to be biased and undependable.
There is only one trustworthy source of truth and that is the Word of God. And our Wondrous Lord has provided the way to access that truth. Jesus promised that when He returned to the Father, He would send us a helper. That helper is the Holy Spirit of God.
“But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth.” [John 16:13]
The Holy Spirit came on the Day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit indwells our spirit. We receive wisdom and power and truth as the Holy Spirit guides us.
I am so thankful for His guidance because I certainly cannot depend on my own wisdom to guide me. All my own wisdom has ever done was get me in trouble!
